Elementary Schools

Chaparral Elementary - Preschool through 6th grade

Chaparral Elementary is the first of Ladera Ranch's four new schools. A very large campus located in the Township District of Ladera Ranch, it has approximately 30 classrooms, a high tech library and media center, and many other amenities.

Ladera Ranch Elementary School

Opened in August of 2003 Ladera Ranch ES is located at 29551 Sienna Parkway in Ladera Ranch. This is a dual campus, shared by both elementary and middle school students. Ladera Ranch ES also houses a first-of-its-kind community public library and according to CUSD is” a high tech hub and offers a hard-wired and wireless infrastructure for information technology. This supports a unique voluntary Learning with Laptops program in which the school enters into partnership with parents to provide a world-class education for students in the area information literacy. Students in grades 3 – 8 can bring a laptop computer to school everyday.”

Oso Grande Elementary

Oso Grande Elementary will open August of 2005. Currently it’s the final school planned for Ladera Ranch. It is nearest to the Covenant Hills development within Ladera Ranch.
